Chaquez McCall has been a Florence resident for over 30 years. He’s a proud graduate of Wilson High School and Francis Marion University, where he majored in political science. While at Francis Marion, he was awarded the Jesse A. Cole Political Science Scholarship and The Neal D. Thigpen Award in South Carolina Politics and Government. He was also inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society.
After graduating from Francis Marion University in Indiana, McCall moved to Durham, NC, where he attended North Carolina Central University School of Law. While at Law School, he was a staff editor at the prestigious NCCU Law Review. He also worked extensively in Civil Litigation Clinic, where complex and small-scale litigation was handled.
After graduating from Law School, Mr. McCall went back to Florence, SC, where he worked as a judicial clerk under the guidance of Circuit Court Judge D. Craig Brown. During this time, he learned inner workings of the court system.
In this role, he worked first-hand with attorneys, solicitors and judges in the area throughout the process. After completing his clerkship, McCall opened McCall Law, which specializes in Personal Injury and Criminal Law.
